چکیده

The phytochemical content of some Astragalus species distributed in Bulgarian flora has been previously studied. Among other compounds, flavoalkaloids, acylated flavonoids, flavonoid triglycosides and cycloartane saponins have isolated so far. composition the rest representatives this genus Bulgaria is not explored yet. aim study was to perform a screening for presence selected rare secondary metabolites (flavoalkaloids, saponins) species. Samples were collected different phenological stages from locations country. A novel rapid ultra-high performance liquid chromatography – high resolution electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRESIMS) method developed applied. For first time flavoalkaloid glycoside determined extracts A. onobrychis var. chlorocarpus glycyphylloides. From depressus an derivative kaempferol newly identified. flavonol camelliaside A, alcesefoliside mauritianin proved samples glycyphylloides, cicer as well.

Development of a High-Resolution Melting Method for Screening R188H Polymorphism in XRCC2 Gene

Background: The High Resolution Melting (HRM) method is a new scanning method for detecting unknown changes in DNA and its advantages have persuaded researchers to recruit it as a screening method. Objectives: Here, we developed a HRM method to screen R188H SNP (rs3218536) of XRCC2 and compared the results with a well known PCR-RFLP technique. Materials and Methods: Genomic ...

Identification of some secondary metabolites produced by four Penicillium species

Fungi produce a wide range of secondary metabolites such as antibiotics, toxins, alkaloids, fatty acids, ketones and alcohols during active cell growth. The present study was aimed to identify secondary metabolites from some Penicillium species, using GC-MS. Many important compounds such as 3-oxoquinuclidine in Penicillium jenseii, formamidine in Penicillium pusillum, orcinol and 1,3,8-p-mentha...
